Amy Jo Hardy, age 38, of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley. Amy was born October 28, 1974 in Omaha, Nebraska to Elton and Shirley (Vaughn) Hardy. She graduated from the Missouri Valley High School with the class of 1993. Amy enjoyed being with her family and friends. She had a good sense of humor and was very loving and caring. Survivors include her children: Chelsie Hardy, Dakota Grandmont, Gabe Hardy all of Missouri Valley, Iowa; sisters: Cindy Galus of Omaha, Nebraska; Kelly Knight of Underwood, Iowa; Alicia Miller of Missouri Valley, Iowa; brother: Joey Hardy of Woodbine, Iowa. Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Elton Hardy and Shirley (Booher) Hardy. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until time of service Thursday with a Memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Kim Crummer officiating. No viewing will be held. Burial will be at a later date.
