Melvin L Anderson age 87, of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away Monday June 7, 2010 at Community Memorial Hospital. Melvin was born on March 21, 1923 to Carl and Ellen (Larson) Anderson in Missouri Valley. Melvin lived his whole life in the Missouri Valley area where he farmed, he also was with the Masonic Lodge for over fifty years. Melvin married Laura in 1958. Survivors include his wife Laura of Missouri Valley, Iowa, son Peter Anderson and wife Vicki of Missouri Valley, Iowa, sister: Grace Williams, stepdaughter Kris Bailey of Missouri Valley, Iowa and five grandchildren Melvin was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Clarence and Warren; sisters; Irene and Helen.
