Curtis Bonham

Curtis Wayne Bonham age 56 of Missouri Valley, Iowa died Tuesday, October 12, 2021 surrounded by his family and friends at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Curt was born March 5, 1965 in Council Bluffs to Wayne and Joan(Kelly) Bonham. Curt attended school in Missouri Valley and graduated from Woodbine. Curt married Teresa Shinn and had 2 sons Wesley and Ryan. Curt was employed by the state of Iowa DOT and he also owned his own lawn mowing business taking care of 2 cemeteries and many yards around Missouri Valley.

He was preceded in death by his father Wayne Bonham.

Survivors include his 2 sons Wesley Bonham of Pisgah, Iowa and Ryan Bonham of Missouri Valley, his mother Joan Bonham of Missouri Valley, his brother Chris and his wife Tammy Bonham of Hornick, his niece Megan Bonham of Vermillion SD, 2 nephews Adam and his wife Lexy (Ellie, Payton) Brown, and Nathan Bonham of Onawa.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Connie McWilliams officiating on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.

Celebration of Life Service will be from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at The Missouri Valley Eagles Club.

    I will miss Curt. I know his brothers and sisters in his Union, AFSCME, will miss him as well. We wish you all the strength, peace and good memories possible. We are here if you need us.
