Celebration of Life Service  Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the 4-H Building in the City Park, Missouri Valley, Iowa.

Dannie M. Christensen age 66, of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Dannie was born April 5, 1953 in Atlantic, Iowa to Kenneth and Leila (Cue) Christensen. Dannie married Dee Olson December 30, 1977 in Las Vegas. He served in the United States Air Force, owned and operated Terrill Ambulance Service out of Atlantic, Iowa. Dannie sold cars and RV’s sales. He enjoyed stock car racing, golf, pool, poker, riding motorcycles, fishing and being a prankster. Dannie was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in law Maxene Olson.

Survivors include his wife Dee of Missouri Valley, Iowa, daughter Cherie Petty and husband Sid of Atlantic, Iowa, grandchildren, Cody, Amanda, Summer and four great grandchildren, daughter Keri Christensen and grandson Kasey Christensen of Missouri Valley, Iowa, son Josh Christensen and wife Crystal, grandchildren, Blake, Chase and Leila of Missouri Valley, Iowa, sisters Diane Denney and husband Joe of Wiota, Iowa, DeeDee Koenig and husband Kelly from Jonestown, Texas, , brothers Dale Christensen and wife Kari from Katy, Texas, David Christensen and wife Mona from Anita, Iowa, special friend Dave Gillispie of Blair, Nebraska, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.

    So sorry to hear this news! Dean and I send our condolences. I have some fun memories of our younger years and working on the ambulance together. He was a busy guy and always good for a laugh no matter the circumstance. Wish we could be there to visit you in person but know you are in our thoughts.
