Donald E. Bowden

Donald Bowden age 82, of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Longview Nursing Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Don was born May 4, 1938 in Tekamah, Nebraska to Samuel and Maude (Golden) Bowden. Don graduated High School. Don met Sandra Hainline in 1979 at the First and Last Chance Saloon Bar in Missouri Valley, Iowa, they got married October 16, 1981. He worked at Harvestor for many years and went on to drive a truck for Beatrice Freight Line for over eighteen years retiring in 2003. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3876. He enjoyed wood working, fishing, camping with the kids, family. His family meant a lot to him.

Don is preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter Donna, brother Jerry Bowden, granddaughter Laurie Bolton.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years Sandra Bowden of Missouri Valley, Iowa children Michael D. Bowden of Omaha, Nebraska, Sherry Bowden of Tennessee, Donald Rodasky Jr., of Iowa, Larry Rodasky (Norma) of Dunlap, Iowa, Kathy Preston (Kyle) of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Roger Rodasky of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Linda Cooling of Sulley, Iowa, Valerie Peffer of Missouri Valley, Iowa, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
