Dwight Edward Wilcox age 77 of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at his home. Dwight was born January 15, 1941

Dwight was preceded in death by: mother Lois, father Charles, four brothers and seven sisters.

Survived by his wife Sherree Lynn Wilcox, four daughters: Cindy (Terry) Jacobsen, Robin (David) Komasinski, Denise (Raymond) Buckley, Renae (Jeffrey) Dieatrick-Westbrook, seventeen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, two brothers: Bob and Duane.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.

The family would like to invite everyone to a time of lunch and fellowship at the Fellowship Hall after the funeral service.

 

Dwights greatest love was for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He loved family and friends, that was very important to him. He loved his career on the Omaha Fire Department. He always helped people, and not once did he ever say no.

Dwight and Sherree shared 38 years together. He was so very proud of their home. He enjoyed his dogs and just living a nice and peaceful life. And his wife for everyone was to love the Lord with all of your heart.
