Evelyn B. Hrabik age 103, of Pisgah, Iowa passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Longview Nursing Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Evelyn was born August 18, 1914 in Cuba, Illinois to Edmond O. and Rebecca P. (Adkins) Gruhn. Evelyn graduated from Tech High School in Omaha, Nebraska. She worked at Woolworth for a short time. Evelyn married William Hrabik November 17, 1934. William passed away, March 29, 1987. She enjoyed collecting bells, sewing and genealogy.
Evelyn is preceded in death by: parents, husband William, son: William Hrabik, brothers: Levi, Ed, Glen and Harold, daughter-in-law: Joyce Hrabik.
Survivors include her children: Robert Hrabik of Louisville, Nebraska, Joseph Hrabik, Thomas Hrabik both of Pisgah, Iowa, sister-in-law: Marilyn Hrabik of Missouri Valley, Iowa, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.

I’m so very sorry for your loss Evelyn was such a wonderful lady she will be deeply missed.
My deepest sympathies are with Joe, Bob, and the entire family. Thank you for allowing us at Longview to care for Evelyn. She was a sweet and caring woman! She will be greatly missed!
