Life is changed not taken away. Francis J Tamisiea, age 51, of Mondamin Iowa, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Francis was born April 19, 1963 to Donald Tamisiea and Norma (Buffum) Tamisiea. Francis Married Cheryl on March 2, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is a graduate of Missouri Valley High School. He was a cook at Sunnyside, Oehler Brothers, Kings Crossing. Francis was a welder at Freuhauf, Carry-On Trailer, and Bonds in Logan. Francis enjoyed fishing, hunting, and Nascar. Survivors include his wife: Cheryl Tamisiea of Mondamin, Iowa; mother: Norma Tamisiea of Missouri Valley, Iowa; daughter: Dakota Tamisiea of Blair, Nebraska; son: Benjamin Tamisiea of Blair, Nebraska; sister: Susan Carter and husband Ken of Council Bluffs, Iowa; mother of children: Penny Tamisiea of Blair, Nebraska; niece: Marie of Gretna, Nebraska. Preceded in death by: his father Donald Tamisiea, and aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.
