George O. Moore (Skip) age 75, of Pisgah, Iowa passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019 at his home. George was born April 18, 1944 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Bennie and Mattie (Crumpton) Moore. George worked for Associated Curriers Inc. for over thirty-three years. He married Marcie Blesh in Logan, Iowa, November 16, 1983. George enjoyed spending time with his family and dog Maverick, he enjoyed growing flowers and his garden, watching the hummingbirds and squirrels, at the feeders, maintaining his yard so he could play mini golf.
George is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Gene and Danny. Survivors include his wife Marcie Moore of Pisgah, Iowa, children: Carla Moore of Pisgah, Iowa, Brandi Moore of Omaha, Nebraska, Katie Moore McDaniel and husband Brian of Junction City, Kansas, and ten grandchildren.

My thoughts are with George’s family. It is a painful thing to lose someone very precious, yet no one else can really know all that you feel except our Heavenly Father. He knows and feels your pain. He calls death an enemy and promises to remove it forever, Isaiah 25:8 “And he will swallow up death forever…” He also promised to wake up all our loved ones, in the memorial tombs, from death (Isaiah 26:19). What joy it will be to see our loved ones again and to enjoy life as our Creatort purposed (Psalms 145:16). I hope these words give all of you comfort.
