Hazel “Della” Jager age 89 of Council Bluffs, Iowa and surrounding areas passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Longview Nursing Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Della was born September 1, 1931 in Persia, Iowa to Willis and Hazel (Walters) Lovelady. She married Harold Jager Sr., February 10, 1948 in Council Bluffs, Iowa he passed away on April 27, 2003. Della loved country music and going out dancing with family and friends.
Survivors include her children Harold Jager Jr. and wife Gail, Betti Martin and husband Mike, Rick Jager, Sherri Lorey and husband Jason, ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, her best friend of sixty-seven years, Mary Hagerman.
Preceded in death by her husband Harold Jager Sr., son Ron Jager, parents and seven siblings.
Graveside Service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2021 at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Council Bluffs, Iowa with Pastor Connie McWilliams Officiating.
