Visitation will be held 10:00a.m.~11:00a.m. Monday, October 27, 2025, at Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, Iowa.

Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00am.

Helen Ann Allen,
age 94 of Logan, Iowa passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Azria Health
Longview in Missouri Valley, Iowa.

Helen was born on
December 23, 1930, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Vernon (Bud) and Gladys Ager.
She graduated from Missouri Valley High School in 1949 and on August 31, 1951,
she married the love of her life Raymond (Bud) Allen. They made their home in
Logan, Iowa where they raised their daughter, Cindy. Helen was blessed with two
grandchildren, Nikki Madsen and Bryce Allen, whom she helped raise and was so
very proud of.

Helen worked for
the General Telephone Company (in Missouri Valley and Logan) for many years
before she began working at Linda Lou’s Bar and Grill until she retired
sometime in her late 70’s.

Helen loved being
around people and in her world, there were no strangers, just friends she
hadn’t met yet. She had a love for gardening, crossword puzzles, solitaire,
family and the Lord. She lived a very simple life, not needing much in the
material world. Instead, she found happiness in gratitude and love and saw
beauty in everything around her. She was tiny but she was mighty and left her
mark on everyone who knew her.

Helen was
preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Gladys Ager, son Brian, husband
Raymond (Bud), daughter Cindy and brother-in-law Jerry Skelton.

She is survived
by her sister, Nancy Skelton, grandchildren Nikki (Matt Michael) Madsen and
Bryce (Jerrica) Allen, 5 great-grandchildren Wyatt and Laynie Michael and
Emmarie, Oaklyn and Rhett Allen as well as 4 nieces Tammy (Tim) Podraza, Kim
(Ron) Riggle, Tracy (Russ) McHugh and Chris (Mike) Guinan and 14 great nieces
and nephews and 41 great-great nieces and nephews.
