James A. Yutesler, 81, of Modale, passed away at his home on January 20, 2011. He was born in Modale on October 21, 1929, to Raymond and Beulah (Hansen) Yutesler. Jimmy lived most of his life around Modale. He started farming while still in school and took a job in the packing house in Omaha to help earn a living while farming. Later, he worked for Pete Peterson at the implement dealership. He loved fishing, hunting, flying, playing cards, but most of all farming and riding motorcycles with his friends. Survivors include his brother Harold, nephews David and Ronald, an aunt, cousins, and many friends. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; and sister-in-law, Carol. Inurnment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Yutesler Family Cemetery, Modale, Iowa. A celebration of his life will be held on April 2, 2011, at 12:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Community Hall in Modale.
