Visitation will be 1:30p.m~2:30p.m Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the Logan Christian Church in Logan, Iowa. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 2:30p.m.
The family would like to invite everyone to lunch and a time of fellowship at the church following the service.
Judy K (Bensley) Alexander, age 75 of Mondamin, Iowa passed away December 18, 2024, at Longview Nursing Home with her family by her side.
Judy was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on September 26, 1949, to Marvin and Marjorie (Morrow) Bensley.
Judy attended and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1967. She married Francis “Bud” Alexander on April 25, 1975, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Judy took the leap of faith and was baptized in Blue Lake, Iowa on July 31, 2016.
Judy enjoyed the simple things in life, such as spending time with her family, friends and beloved pups, Ginger, Molly, and Tiny. She would help Bud on the farm. She was not afraid to get dirty to help get a job done. She loved to go camping, fishing, taking road trips with Bud and growing a large garden. However, her favorite time of the year was firework season. Judy and Bud hosted many memorable Fourth of July parties throughout the years.
Judy leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of nearly 50 years, Francis “Bud”, beloved pup, Tiny, sister Jeannie Porter, sister-in-law Joane Alexander and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Marjorie Bensley, parents-in-law Marian and Nellie Alexander, sisters Carol (Pee-Wee) (Bill) Baier, Joann (Ron) Johnson, brothers-in-law Norman Alexander, Bill McNerny, and Charles Porter.
