Julie Annette Cook, age 47, of Missouri Valley, IA passed away on Saturday March 4th, 2017 at CHI Immanuel in Omaha, NE. Julie was born on July 7th, 1969 to Ronald James Cook and Margaret Christine Larson in Missouri Valley, IA. She graduated from Missouri Valley High School in 1987. Julie enjoyed baking, spending time with her granddaughter and being a waitress. Julie was diagnosed with fourth stage breast cancer in 2012, which made her live every day to the fullest.
Julie is preceded in death by her mother Margaret Christine Larson, daughter Emily Judith Cook, Significant other Blake Shipman.
Survivors include her father Ronald James Cook of Council Bluffs, daughters Mekala and Jessica, sons Martin and Michael and grandchild Jadah Annette of Missouri Valley.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 9th, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m, there will be a Praise and Worship Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Grace Community Fellowship 300 E Erie St Missouri Valley IA.
The family would like to invite everyone to a time of lunch and fellowship immediately following the service at the Missouri Valley United Methodist Church, 308 E. Superior St.
