Visitation will be 5:00p.m~7:00p.m Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.
Funeral Service will be Thursday December 12, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.
Burial will follow at the Little Sioux Cemetery.

Kenneth George Gute, the son of Vernon Joseph and Linda Nadean (Elwood) Gute was born on May 18, 1967, in Omaha, NE. He passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, NE, at the age of 57.
Kenny grew up in Modale, IA and attended West Harrison School. Kenny worked most of his professional career for the Union Pacific Railroad as a Division Truck Driver.
Kenny met his wife, Lisa Vavra, 24 years ago and has lived in Modale ever since. They have two children, Kori Schulenberg (Drew), and Harrison Gute.
When Kenny was younger, he enjoyed hunting, camping and attending the rodeo in Cheyenne, WY. Kenny also liked most things outdoors such as going to the timber in Carroll, IA, visiting Yellowstone National Park, and the Teton Range. When it was colder, Kenny would spend a lot of time in his shop enjoying a fire. Kenny loved to spend time with his family and friends.
Kenny leaves behind his wife Lisa of Modale, IA and his children Kori Schulenberg (Drew) of Lincoln, NE, and Harrison Gute of Omaha, NE; and mother Linda (Elwood) Gute of Council Bluffs, IA. Kenny’s siblings include Amy Salas (Danny) of St. Michael, MN; Janet Shearer (Travis) of Mondamin, IA; Jeffery Gute of Mondamin, IA; David Gute (Jodi) of Carson, IA; and Scott Gute (Emilee) of Elkhorn, NE. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Evelyn Vavra of Lyons, NE; sisters-in-law Penny Seeman (Jim) of Flower Mound, TX; April McNatt (Kirk) of Scottsdale, AZ; Heidi Speer (Troy) of Elkhorn, NE; and brother-in-law Shawn Vavra (Carrie) of Fremont, NE; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
