Leo Robert Stevens

Leo Robert Stevens  age 91 of Mondamin, Iowa died Tuesday, April 26th 2022 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Leo was born February 24, 1931 in River Sioux, Iowa to William & Sarah Jane (Parker) Stevens. Leo was raised and went to school in Mondamin He joined the Army and fought in the Korean War. He was married to Phyllis Kron on June 9th 1956 and had 6 children.

Leo was a hard worker and after he retired he enjoyed working around his yard, planting flower and vegetable gardens, feeding the birds and squirrels, and riding his bike all over town.

Survivors include daughters: Debra Kephart and husband Jim of Mondamin, Ia. Deanna Denton and husband Rodney of Tacoma, Wa. Shelli Stevens and boyfriend Mark of Omaha, Ne. Son: Leo Robert Stevens Jr. (Robbie) of Mondamin, Ia. brother: Lloyd Stevens of Woodbine, Ia. Seven Grandchildren, Five Great Grandchildren with one on the way and several other friends and family

Leo is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Phyllis, two sons at birth Ricky and Randy, four brothers and one sister.

The family would like to invite everyone to the Community Center in Mondamin, Ia. following the service at the cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.
