Lois M. Marshall

Lois Mable Marshall, age 86, of Missouri Valley, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at her home in Missouri Valley. Lois was born on September 6, 1931 to Frank and Elsie (Hilborn) Dickinson in Magnolia, Iowa. She graduated from Missouri Valley High School and was also Valedictorian of her graduating class. Lois married Harold on December 20, 1953 in Missouri Valley. Harold passed away in 2014. Lois worked at First National Bank for many years. She loved her dog, Danny Boy. Lois was the Treasurer at the food pantry for many years. She was a loving grand and great grandmother.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold, father and mother in law Carl and Florence, brother Howard, sister in law Pat Marshall, brother in laws: Larry Hammer, and Leonard Wade.

Survivors include daughter Valerie Marshall of Missouri Valley, Iowa, son Robert and wife Sally of Missouri Valley, Iowa, grandkids: R.C Southerland and Rachael, Trisha LeMaire, great grandkids: Olivia, Sophia, and Michael, brother Edward Dickinson and wife Jana of Indianapolis, Indiana, brother in law Richard Marshall, sister in laws: Norma Hammer, Mary Wade, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.

Following the committal service, the family would like to invite everyone to a time of lunch and fellowship located at the Christian Church Center in Missouri Valley.

    My parents Ruby and Melvin Taylor were very close growing and got married a month apart. We saw Lois at my fathers funeral and Mom was so happy to see Los and catch up. Sorry Valerie and Bob.
