Louise “Patt” Lynch

Patt’s celebration of life will be held December 4, 2024, 6p-8p at the Hennessy Funeral Home.

Louise “Patt” Cecilia Lynch, was born March 5th, 1955, to George and Helen (Brandt) Manke.

Patt grew up in Long Island, New York and spent her summers in Maine. In 1975 she met the love of her life in New York, Alan, he was in the Navy Seabees. They started their life overseas in Sicily, where they married in 1976. Their first child, Christopher, was born in Italy in 1977. The family then moved to Eleuthera Bahamas in 1979, and later to Millington, TN in 1989, where their second child Monique was born. They returned to Sicily in 1982, then moved to Long Island, NY in 1985 where they had their third child, Nicholas. The family relocated to Port Hueneme, CA where her husband retired, in 1994. After spending six months back on Long Island, the family settled here in Missouri Valley.

Patt loved spending time with her friends and family, and anything to do with nature or gardening. She loved baking as well.

Some of our favorite things about Patt was her protective nature, her willingness to speak her truth, her loving heart and feisty attitude. Her life was dedicated to the service of others.

Remaining to cherish Patt are son, Nick Lynch, grandchildren, Julia James and Lucy Lynch, great-grandchildren, Nathin Youel and Christopher James, brother George Manke, nephew Andrew Manke, and sister-in-law Marti Lynch

Preceding Patt in death are her spouse of 47 years Alan Lynch, children Monique R Lynch and Christopher R Lynch, and her parents Helen and George Manke.

Memorials in Patt’s memory may be directed to HCHS.
