Lucille J. Tornkvist

Lucille J. Tornkvist age 80, of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley, Iowa.  She was born October 4, 1940 in Sloan, Iowa to Edward and Beatrice (McColley) Anderson. She graduated from Little Sioux High School in 1958. Lucille married John Tornkvist on February 8, 1964. They made their home outside of Missouri Valley.

She is preceded in death by her son Dean, sisters Patsy Anderson and Aylce Swanberg, brothers Chris Edwin (Eddie) and Edward (Buck) Anderson and brothers in law Art Thompson and David Faulkner.

Lucille is survived by her husband of 56 years John, son Kevin (Danielle) Tornkvist of Omaha, Nebraska, daughter Amy (Scott) Ford of Missouri Valley, Iowa, grandchildren Kaylie (Baxter, Iowa) Taylor, Kendra and Kayla (Idaho Falls, Idaho), sisters Dorothy Thompson, Ruth Faulkner and Melody Coleman, sisters in law Tammy and Linda Anderson, brothers Allen (Becky) Anderson and Jeff Anderson and brother in law Joe Swanberg, as well as many nieces, nephew, and extended family.

Interment will be at a later date.
