Maxine L. Harper, age 85, of Missouri Valley, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Maxine was born on November 4, 1930 in Loveland, Iowa to Lloyd and Ella Campbell. Maxine married Dwight L. Harper Sr. on September 29, 1951. She worked at the school as a cook. Maxine loved family, babysitting for many, embroidery, crocheting, and cooking. Maxine is preceded in death by her husband Dwight Harper Sr., parents Lloyd and Ella Campbell, son Mick Harper, and son-in-law Ward Richardson. Survivors include daughters; Virginia Richardson, Tina Harper, Christina Richer and husband Doug, Connie Harper and friend Merlin Buck Buckner sons; Rick Harper, and friend Teresa Hawkins, Dwight Harper Jr. and wife Sheila, sister Marjorie Fox, 13 grandkids, 21 great grandkids, three great great grandkids, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Immediately following the committal service, the family would like to invite you to a lunch and fellowship located at the United Methodist Church in Missouri Valley, Iowa.
