Psalms 23 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not [a]want. 2 He makes me to lie down in [b]green pastures; He leads me beside the [c]still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will [d]dwell in the house of the LORD

Pryers & sympathy to Merle’s family on his death. Im sure you have some touching memories o your Father. I remember when your parents & their oldest children would come to Aunt Ada to visit on Sundays. I think it was Pam & Peg with blonde hair playing. I was at Ada’s house with Lavonne. I thought you girls were so cute. I lost touch with any of you over the years. Melody, 1st Cousin to Merle. My Father, Merel Osbahr & Ada are siblings.

Merle’s was not first cousin. A lot older than me. I remember when he and Carmelita would come visit at the farm. Sorry to hear of your loss. Later this brother in law became my brother in law.

I am LaVonne Barta’s daughter, and I just learned about the passing of your dad (My Uncle) from their cousin who was talking to their second cousin. I had to google it to confirm it. I have many memories of going to the house in Missouri Valley and see him, Aunt Carm and all you kids. Please know I am sending prayers for you all that you find the strength you need during this time. He will be greatly missed by many that knew him.
