Michael Patrick Lloyd Fox, age 33 of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away unexpectedly on February 15, 2025. Michael was born February 2, 1992, in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Elizabeth (Liz) Crosby and William (Billy) Fox.
Michael was baptized and confirmed in the St. Patrick’s parish, where he also attended school until the nineth grade. Michael then attended Missouri Valley High School and graduated in 2010. Throughout school he was involved in boy scouts, multiple school clubs and sports.
After Michael graduated, he moved to Wyoming with his dad Billy. While in Wyoming he met the mother of his son, Sophia Gonzales and in 2015 Braxton Michael Fox was born.
Michael moved back and reconnected with his high school love, Sarah Manus and her son Isaac Martinez. Michael took her son and loved him like he was his own. Michael and Sarah were planning to be married on March 27, 2025.
While living in Wyoming, Michael worked as a truck driver at BTI, construction, Riverton Parks department and Ace Hardware with his father. When Michael got back to Iowa he worked for various farmers, Salter’s Farm, Buss Farms, and most recently and favorite place to be, Meyer’s Farms.
Michael had a love for fishing and spending time with friends and family. Michael was a family focused man. He made sure to always say “I Love You” and tell you he was proud of you. He was the type of person that would give the shirt off his back and always treated you with respect. He loved helping anywhere he could. Michael was very inquisitive and loved taking things apart just to see how it worked, even when he was little, he would have model car parts everywhere.
When Michael wasn’t at home you could find him hanging out with his best friend Alex Meyer.
Michael will always be remembered for his love and kindness.
Michael is survived by his son Braxton Fox, Stepson Isaac Martinez, Fiancé Sarah Manus. mother Elizabeth Fox, stepfather Todd Cryderman, stepmother Selena Fox, sisters; Mercedes Fox, and Morgan Coberly, brother Maverick Fox, nephews; Garrett and Ryder Fox and niece Amber Coberly.
He is preceded in death by his father William Fox, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
