Mildred M. Peters age 88, of Honey Creek, Iowa passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Mildred was born October 6, 1925 to Joseph and Gisela (Cevela) Chytil in Omaha, Nebraska. Mildred married Bernard Peters May 17, 1952. Bernard passed away August 12, 2008. Mildred enjoyed reading, playing cards, bingo and putting puzzles together. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Bernard Peters; son: Bernard Peters Jr.; sisters: Anastacia, Adele, Gisela; brother: Joseph Jr. Survivors include her daughter: Christine Peters of Boise, Idaho; son: Danny Peters and wife Connie of Honey Creek, Iowa; grandchildren: Kelli Roma and husband Jason; Mark Utterback, great grandchildren: Allison and Alex Roma.sister; Albina Ladd of Omaha, Nebraska Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.
