Patricia Ann Bober

Patricia Ann Bober age 85, of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Longview Nursing Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa. She was born January 1, 1935 in Missouri Valley, Iowa to Phillip and Iola (Walls) Cox. Patricia graduated from Omaha Tech High School. She was a Hostess for Red Lobster until she retired in 2005. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Red Hat, Ladies Auxiliary. Patricia enjoyed traveling, concerts and she was a very adventurous person.

Patricia was preceded in death by her mother: Iola Walker, sisters: Christy Yetter, Regena Smith, husband James J. Bober, son: David Bober one grandchild and one great grandchild.

Patricia is survived by her children: Skip Miller Jr., Mitzi and Joe Navaro, Micheal and Joyce Miller, Karen Bober, Candee Rocha, Mike and Vantrease Beam, Rita Hansen, Patrick (Butch) and Sue Bober, Jim and Diane Bober, twenty grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, sisters: Linda and Lee Sherod, Toni and Walsh Conmy, brother: Robert and Clare Walker, many nieces and nephews, cousins.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.

The family would like to invite everyone to a time of lunch and fellowship at the church following the service.

The family would like memorials to made out to the United Methodist Church.

    “Grammy” Pat and I had so many good times together. She never missed a birthday party or school event. Even at the rest home we would visit and drink root beer together. I am so sad, but glad she is not suffering any more.

    I worked with Pat for years and my memories of her are filled laughter, music, dancing and friendship
    Our prayers go out to her family

    Pat was a hero for me and she will be missed immensely. She was really one of a kind and helped everyone. Prayers for her family. God bless all of you.
