family, Tuesday, 5-7 p.m. at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley.

Mass of Christian Burial,
Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic church in Missouri Valley.

A lunch will immediately
follow in the parish hall.

Inurnment will be held at
a later date in Garner Cemetery, Bridgewater, IA.

Randall D. “Randy” Scott,
age 68, of Council Bluffs, formerly of Missouri Valley and Logan, IA, passed
away February 6, 2025, at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE. Randy was born June
19, 1956, in Greenfield, IA to the late Daryl M. and Mildred I. (Connor) Scott.
He graduated from Bridgewater-Fontanelle High School in 1974 and from the
Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Chicago, IL. Randy wed Patricia Ann
(Rothmeier) Kerkhoff in 1986. They were blessed with their daughter, Nicole.
Randy was a licensed funeral director. He managed the Hennessey-Aman Funeral
Home in Missouri Valley and the Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, IA for nearly
30 years, retiring in 2020. Randy was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church
in Missouri Valley. He loved his work, fishing, golfing, and yard work at his
new home in Council Bluffs and having chocolate shakes with his granddaughter,
Lorelei.

In addition to his
parents, Randy was preceded in death by his wife Pat Scott in 2020; brother,
Danny Scott in 2020 and his niece, Jodi Lawman.

Randy is survived by his
daughters, Nicole (Jeremy) Joy of Omaha, Robyn (Kevin) Chmiel of Austin, TX;
son, Aaron (Michelle) Kerkhoff in Germany; grandchildren, Brady, Mitchell,
Brianna, Meridith, Christian, Maximus, and Lorelei; brother, Dallas (Pam) Scott
of Manson, IA; sister-in-law, Mary Scott of Gretna, NE; nieces, nephews, many
friends and colleagues.

Memorials are suggested to the Logan, IA Public Library.
