In Loving Memory Of Shirley May Booher Services 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2009 Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home – Missouri Valley, Iowa Officiating Pastor Linn Parsons Tapes Selections “Wind Beneath My Wings” “I Can Only Imagine” SHIRLEY MAY BOOHER, age 66, of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away Monday, September 28, 2009 at the Creighton Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Shirley was born July 26, 1943 in Dunlap, Iowa to Amos and Alice (Blunk) Vaughn. Shirley was married to Emmett Booher, October 8, 1986 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She worked for Harrison County Health Aid as a CNA for several years. Shirley was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and she loved flowers, spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband Emmett of Missouri Valley, Iowa; daughters: Cindy Galus of Omaha, Nebraska; Kelly Knight of Glenwood, Iowa; Amy Grandmount of Missouri Valley, Iowa; Alicia Miller of Fremont, Nebraska; sons: Joey Hardy of Woodbine, Iowa; Brian Christensen of Blair, Nebraska; sisters: Deanna Kaspersen of Georgetown, Texas; Karen Weber of Waterloo, Iowa; brother: Franklin Vaughn of Missouri Valley, Iowa; twenty-four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, sister Betty Lou and brother Kenneth.
