Terrence J. Goodrich, a beloved resident of Missouri Valley, Iowa, passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 75.

Born on June 7, 1949, in Spalding, Nebraska. Terry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. A proud veteran of the Vietnam War, he served his country with honor in the Army.

Terry found happiness in life’s simple joys—a quiet afternoon with a crossword puzzle, the comforting aroma of freshly ground coffee, and the sweet pleasure of a slice of cake. He was a lifelong reader, and the aisles of the grocery store were a place where he could enjoy the little moments. Above all, it was his kind heart and warm smile that left a lasting impact on everyone he met. His love for his family, especially his grandchildren, was always evident, and he cherished moments spent with them.

Terry was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara (Moon) Goodrich, and his parents, Marvin and Marie Goodrich.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his children, Meg Beguedou, Brianna Goodrich, and Callen Goodrich; his treasured grandchildren, Brennan, Lanigan, Mac, Abbott, and Ellie Kay; his siblings, Mike (Vicki) Goodrich, Mary (Jerry) Rease, Tim (Shiela) Goodrich, Dennis (Joan) Goodrich, Patrick Goodrich, and Bernie (Dustina) Goodrich; along with many other beloved family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be directed to them, and they will be distributed to the causes and charities that were close to Terry’s heart.

The world, society and all of us are much poorer today without Terry Goodrich. He was the absolute best.
