Timothy F. Day

Timothy Frederick Day, age 64, of Pisgah, Iowa, passed away from natural causes on Saturday, September 4th, 2021. Tim was born on September 18th, 1956 in Denver, Colorado to Lawrence and Eileen (Heffley) Day. He graduated from Missouri Valley High School in 1974. Tim spent most of his career delivering packages around Omaha and local areas for his self-owner delivery service. He was a kind-hearted, friendly face that would do anything for anyone that asked. Tim could and would talk to anyone and everyone about anything. He was an animal lover that would give any creature in need a good and loving home. Tim was also an avid lifetime automobile enthusiast who loved working, fixing, and building vehicles – a real “gear head”. His kind demeanor and friendly face will be greatly missed.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Eileen Day.

He is survived by his sons Eric, of Woodbine, and Nick, of Longview, WA; daughter Haley (Kody) Petersen of Pisgah; grandchildren Hadley, Morgan, Caden, Wade, Xander, Declan, Fisher, River, and Striker. He also leaves behind his brother Lawrence (Nancy) Day of Cape Coral, FL

Tim was always so kind to me when I was growing up. Having moved away 16 years ago, I’ve lost touch with a lot of people from home in Iowa, including Tim and his sons, with whom I went to school. But I’ve never forgotten Tim, or the Day family. Good, kind hearted people through and through. I am sorry to hear of your loss, and I pray the whole family peace and love as you greive and heal. May all in the world be so blessed to be so close to someone so kind and gentle.
