Tracy A. Wakehouse

 

Tracy A. Wakehouse age 46, of Logan, Iowa passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Tracy was born January 24, 1971 in Missouri Valley, Iowa to Shirley Wakehouse. Tracy grew up in Logan, Iowa where she lived with her Mother, and her Grandparents Dale and Lila Wakehouse. Tracy was a 1990 graduate of Logan-Magnolia High school. After graduation Tracy started working at Crossroads of Western Iowa, Tracy worked at Crossroads of Western Iowa and also worked at Share the Ware. Tracy attended LINKS and volunteered in the community. Tracy volunteered at the Harrison County Humane Society, in Logan, Iowa. Tracy was a HUGE Hannah Montana fan, she enjoyed watching the TV episodes and the movie with her friends. Tracy loved to travel. She traveled to Disney World, Washington DC, she went on a cruise to Alaska and Canada. Tracy also loved to go to dances, joke with people, talk on the phone, and go out to eat. Tracy participated in Aktion Club, Special Olympics, Miss Amazing, and Buddy Baseball she was on a bowling league for many years. Tracy loved spending time with her friends.

Tracy is proceeded in death by her Mother Shirley Wakehouse, Grandparents Dale and Lila Wakehouse.

Survivors include Uncle Wayne Wakehouse of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Aunt Cleo Woodard of Dunlap, Iowa, cousin Iris Gree of Atlantic, Iowa, her close friends Holly Smith and Phil Schwitters, and the rest of her Crossroads of Western Iowa family.

   A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Officiant will be Theresa Erixon and music selections are “In the Garden”, “The Old Rugged Cross” and “The Climb”.

    Tracy you will be missed by everyone that met you. You could talk to anyone and that’s what we loved about you. Look after your roommates from above.
