Victoria Lee

Victoria Dawn (Lee) Vargas Age 25 of Missouri Valley passed away Saturday December 8, 2012 in Ewing, Nebraska. Vicki was born December 31, 1986 in Kearney, Nebraska to Don Ray Lee and Susan Joy (Manfull) Lee. Vicki graduated from Missouri Valley High School in 2005 with honors. During her senior year she served as a Page in the Iowa State Senate. Her family said it was an experience of a lifetime for her. Vicki served on the Missouri Valley City Council from January 2006 to December 2009 and was the youngest person to serve on the council in Missouri Valley’s history. Vicki attended the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) while she served on the City Council. She had planned on attending classes in January to finish up the last few courses she needed for her Political Science Degree. Vicki married Gabino Alex Vargas October 22, 2012; they shared a love for dancing especially ballroom dancing. She had recently gone back to her job at UNO Food Service she liked to call herself “The Coffee Lady” because she loved serving coffee to the customers. Vicki was an absolutely wonderful person – friendly and outgoing who enjoyed fashion, swimming, fishing, dancing and star gazing. Survivors include her parents; Don and Susan Lee. sister: Brittany Lee, brother Donald Lee all of Missouri Valley. Grandparents; Donald and June Lee of Troutman, North Carolina. And William Manfull of Gibbon, Nebraska. Gabino Alex Vargas age 34 of Omaha Nebraska passed away Saturday December 8, 2012 in Ewing, Nebraska. Gabino was born May 3, 1978 in Hidalgo, Mexico to Gabino and Priscila Vargas. He graduated From Central High School in Omaha, Nebraska in 1994. He did two semesters of general studies at Bellevue University in Omaha, Nebraska. He was employed at Fry Dairy farm. Gabino better known as “Alex” had a love for dancing and spending time with his two nephews who he would spoil any chance he could get. He was a person who loved life and you rarely saw him without a smile. Survivors include his parents; Gabino and Priscila Vargas of Hidalgo, Mexico. sister; Griscelda Vargas of Hidalgo, Mexico, brother Eric Vargas of Omaha, Nebraska, nephews; Eric M. Vargas, Farnando Vargas of Omaha, Nebraska.
