He was a good guy. We enjoyed hoeing his bean fields. Him using the bean hook vs us using a bean knife. Oh, the conversations and the weather we hoed in. Early morning wet beans. Losing our shoes in the mud. Hot sun. He had the best bean hoeing crew! Right, Margaret and Milo?!! Crew – Helen Hilton, Nellie Edward, Conita (Edwards) Williams, Janise (Hilton) Richardson & me.

Wally was always a joy when he would stop in the chiropractor office. He had so many stories about his time in the service. He always had great pride when he spoke of his family. The world was a better place by simply knowing him. My prayers to his family.
