Visitation will be held 10:00a.m~11:00a.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.
Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:00a.m.
The family would like to invite everyone to a time of lunch and fellowship at the Methodist Church in Missouri Valley, Iowa following the committal service.

William Harold John, age 99 of Council Bluffs, IA, formerly of Missouri Valley, IA passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2025, at Risen Son Christian Village in Council Bluffs, IA.
Harold graduated from Modale High School. He married Dorothy Mae Mentzer on July 6, 1947, in Missouri Valley.
He was employed as a TV repairman for many years. Harold enjoyed reading, gardening and walking.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy, sisters: Lucille, Helen, and Alice, brothers: Edward, Lloyd, Gerald and Robert.
Survivors include son Larry John and wife Kathy of Council Bluffs, IA, daughter Nancy John of Council Bluffs, IA, sisters: Phyllis Hardisty and Margaret Hough of Fremont, NE and Marjorie Adair of Omaha, NE, grandchildren: Susan Strater, Debra Byers, Erin Trotter, great-grandchildren: Nicole Strater, Colton Strater, Meghan Strater, Jacob Byers, Jackson Byers, Paige Byers, Kamron Washington, Jada Trotter, Eva Trotter.
