Ardith L. Neff age 89, of Modale, Iowa passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020 at Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Ardith was born January 13, 1931 in Herman, Nebraska to Jacob and Lois (Brunton) Sabalka. She graduated from Herman, Nebraska High School Class of 1948. Ardith married Charles August 27, 1952 at the Methodist Church in Blair, Nebraska, Charles passed away August 24, 2015. Ardith enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, reading, cooking, arts and crafts, and playing the piano. She was very active in the church as well as VFW and Legion.
Ardith is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles M. Neff.
Survivors include her children Linda (Matt) Gabrilska of Bayou Vista, Texas, Josephine Rath of Harlan, Iowa, Sharon (Jess) Cornelius of Merriam, Kansas, William Neff of Omaha, Nebraska, three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.

Grandpa Les and family, we are very sorry for your loss. Thinking of you.
Ardith and Charlie were faithful visitors to the Mondamin American Legion fish fries and we always enjoyed seeing them and talking with them. After Charlie passed, we enjoyed her and her son on Saturday nights. She will be missed and may she rest in peace. Our prayers are with her family.
