Judith Ellen Mahoney age 67 of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 at Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley. Judy was born March 14, 1946 in Missouri Valley, Iowa to Byron and Ellen (Porter) Mahoney. Judy graduated from Missouri Valley High School in 1964 and lived most of her life in Missouri Valley. She worked at Sunnyside Truck Stop and also did babysitting. Judy enjoyed painting, drawing, crocheting and knitting. Preceded in death by: parents, Byron and Ellen Mahoney, brothers: Ronald, Donald, Leroy, Marvin, Edwin and Richard. Survivors include her brother: Jerry Mahoney and wife Patricia of Missouri Valley, Iowa; sister in laws: Stella Mahoney of Rolfe, Iowa; June Mahoney of Gentry, Arkansas, many nieces and nephews. Prayer service Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and visitation will follow until 8:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Missouri Valley. The family would like to invite everyone to a time of lunch and fellowship to the church before the committal.
